Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Momentum ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Pinak Faldu ("we," "us," or "our"), the developer of Momentum.

About Momentum

Momentum is a Flutter mobile app for iOS and Android that helps you reflect on your progress one day at a time. Each day, you answer one question — Did today move you forward? — and choose a status: Gained momentum, Held steady, or Paused.

The App includes boards for separate tracking spaces, a month-grid view, optional daily reminders, and board statistics. There are no streaks, badges, or gamification.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Momentum for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the rules of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content except as permitted by law.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code.
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.

Purchases

Lifetime access

Momentum offers a one-time lifetime in-app purchase that unlocks unlimited boards and full access to the App. There are no subscriptions.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Prices may vary by region and are displayed in the App before you buy.
  • You can restore your lifetime purchase on a new device via Settings → Restore Purchases, using the same store account used for the original purchase.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests must be submitted through the applicable app store in accordance with their policies. We do not process refunds directly.

Your Data

Your boards, daily check-ins, and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not provide cloud sync or user accounts. You are responsible for backing up your device if you want to preserve your data across device changes.

Acceptable Use

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful personal purposes.
  • Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
  • Not attempt to interfere with the App's operation or security.

Intellectual Property

Momentum, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App.

Disclaimers

Momentum is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.

The App is a personal reflection tool, not medical, psychological, or professional advice. Do not rely on it for health or wellness decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the lifetime purchase in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes to the App and Terms

We may update Momentum or these Terms at any time. Material changes to the Terms will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Where required by local consumer protection laws, those laws apply.
